Wozu benötigt man KVM-Extender?
Einzelne Komponenten wie die CPU in einem Computer geben teilweise sehr viel Wärme ab, daher ist meist eine aktive Kühllösung nötig, die den Geräuschpegel je nach Last auf eine unangenehme Ebene ansteigen lässt. Daher werden Computer oft in eine Geräuschisolierte und klimatisierte Räumlichkeit gestellt, um ruhige Arbeitsplätze zu gewährleisten. Um jedoch Verbindung zwischen weiter entfernten Computern und den Displays und Eingabegeräten sind KVM-Extender notwendig.
Oft kann auch das Arbeitsumfeld ungeeignet für einen Computer sein, da z.B. sehr viel Schmutz in den Computer gelangen kann. Daher kann es auch nötig sein, den Computer in ein sauberes Umfeld zu stellen zu müssen, um dessen einwandfreie Funktionsfähigkeit zu gewährleisten. Also ist auch hier die Verwendung von einem KVM-Kit zu empfehlen.
