FAQ
What distinguishes a medical PC from a normal PC?
Medical PCs are certified to DIN EN 60601-1 (leakage currents, insulation, protective conductor). They may only be operated in close proximity to patients when this certification is in place.
Can standard PCs be used in medical practices?
Standard PCs may not be operated in close proximity to patients (within 1.5 m of the patient). Standard PCs are permitted for administrative workstations without patient contact.
