Mono & stereo | 100–2,000 W power | 100 V & Low-Z | 19" rack mount |
Veranstaltungstechnik – Amplifiers
PA power amplifiers for passive loudspeakers in event technology, stage and fixed installation – from compact stereo power amps (100 W) for small PA setups to high-power mono blocks (2,000 W) for large stage systems. 100 V output for ELA systems and Low-Z operation (4/8 Ω) available. All power amps in 19-inch rack format (1–4U) for installation in PA racks. Key features: balanced XLR inputs, limiter circuit for speaker protection, short-circuit/thermal protection, fan cooling, switchable mono/stereo operation (mono bridge for double power). Class D switching amplifiers offer high efficiency and low weight – ideal for mobile stage use. Buying advice: amplifier rated power should be approx. 1.5–2x the speaker's rated power handling – this gives the amp sufficient headroom and delivers clean, unclipped signals. Underpowered amps clip – clipping distortion is a common cause of speaker damage. Expert advice: +49 (0)7666 / 88499-0 | sales@industry-electronics.com | Top manufacturers

Amplifiers – FAQ
How many watts of amplifier do I need for my speakers?
Recommendation: amplifier rated power = 1.5–2x speaker rated power handling. Example: 300 W speaker → 450–600 W amp (4 or 8 Ω). In bridge-mono mode available power doubles.
What is the difference between Class AB and Class D?
Class AB: analogue linear amplifier – low distortion, more heat, heavier. Class D: switching amplifier – very high efficiency (>90 %), lightweight, compact. Now the standard for stage and mobile use.
Can PA power amps be used for 100 V systems?
Only if they have an integrated 100 V output transformer. Standard Low-Z amplifiers are not suitable for 100 V operation. Combined 100 V/Low-Z amps offer both via a selector switch.
