Features and Equipment in Detail

The camera offers a resolution of 4 megapixels, ensuring clear and detailed recordings. The 10x optical zoom allows distant objects to be zoomed in without losing image quality. The continuous 360° panning function enables uninterrupted rotational movement, allowing the camera to cover all areas within its vicinity. The integrated DLPU supports video analysis functions based on deep learning, enabling faster object detection. AXIS Object Analytics classifies detected objects into categories such as people or vehicles, simplifying the evaluation of recordings.

Technology Explained Simply

The ARTPEC-8 processor ensures efficient processing of video data and supports real-time transmission. The DLPU is a specialized processor optimized for processing deep learning algorithms, enabling the camera to detect objects faster and more accurately. Axis Edge Vault is a security module that protects the device from unauthorized access and ensures the integrity of stored data. The camera supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), allowing power supply and data transmission via a single network cable. Alternatively, it can also be operated with 24 V DC. Audio and I/O connectivity enable integration of additional sensors or speakers.

Compatibility and Accessories

The camera is compatible with all Axis PTZ mounts, enabling flexible installation at various locations. Available accessories include various mounting options such as the Wall Mount T91G61 and the Pendant Kit T94A01D. For network connectivity, managed PoE switches such as the T8504-E or T8524 are available. To extend the range, PoE adapters such as the T8640 or PoE midspan modules such as the TU8004 can be used. For illumination, IR illuminators such as the T90D40 or T90D20, as well as white light illuminators such as the T90D35, are available. Audio components such as the microphone T8351 MK II or TU1001-VE can be added for voice transmission. Additional components include Surge Protector TU8001, PoE Extender T8129, connectors, power supply unit PSU T8007 PS24 24 V DC, and Surveillance Cards such as the 512 GB variant.

Installation and Mounting

The camera can be mounted at various locations, with the use of Axis PTZ mounts recommended. Installation is either via PoE, where power and data are transmitted over a single Ethernet cable, or via an external 24 V DC power supply. Mounting on walls or ceilings is possible, using specific mounts such as the Wall Mount T91G61 or the Pendant Kit T94A01D.

Operational Advantages

The camera offers high image quality with 4 megapixels and 10x optical zoom, enabling detailed surveillance. The continuous 360° panning function and autofocus ensure flexible and sharp image transmission. Support for deep learning analyses and AXIS Object Analytics increases the efficiency of video analysis. PoE support simplifies installation, as power and data are transmitted over one cable.
