Axis 5506-951 Accessory mounting T91G61 wall mount content_copy

The AXIS T91G61 Wall Mount is a wall bracket for security cameras, specifically designed for outdoor use. It serves as a mounting base for PTZ and multi-sensor cameras from the Axis product family and simultaneously provides a protected area for accessories such as power supplies or PoE midspans. The bracket is made of impact-resistant aluminium and features an IP66 protection rating, meaning it is dust-tight and protected against water jets from all directions. This property makes it suitable for use in harsh environments, including industrial facilities, outdoor areas of buildings, or public spaces. Additionally, the bracket is certified with IK10 and NEMA 4X in Axis White, ensuring high protection against mechanical impacts and environmental influences.

Wall mounting is the intended mounting method, with the bracket featuring a drilling pattern compatible with conventional Axis PTZ wall brackets. It also supports a drilling pattern matching Pelco PTZ camera brackets, enabling quick replacement without re-drilling. This simplifies installation and maintenance, especially in systems that already have existing mounting points. The bracket is not intended for inverted installations, meaning it should only be mounted in the specified upright position.

Functions and equipment in detail include an integrated protective compartment that provides space for connection devices, midspans, and cable loops. This allows for orderly and weatherproof cabling directly at the wall bracket, reducing the number of exposed connections outdoors. A pre-installed Ethernet cable with an IP66-certified RJ45 connector is already integrated, enabling quick and reliable connection of power and data. The connector is designed for outdoor use and protects the connection against moisture and contamination.

Technology explained simply shows that the IP66 protection rating offers high resistance to dust and water, which is crucial for long-term stability outdoors. The IK10 certification guarantees protection against mechanical impacts, such as shocks or vibrations, which may occur in outdoor environments. The use of aluminium ensures high corrosion resistance and durability, especially in humid or salt-laden environments. The integrated cable connection with RJ45 connector enables direct network connection, with power supply via PoE (Power over Ethernet) if the camera and network support it.

Compatibility and accessories include a wide range of Axis cameras, such as models from the M55, P56, Q37, Q60, and Q61 series. The bracket is designed to be combined with various accessories to enable mounting at different locations. These include, for example, mounting adapters for conduit (ACI Conduit Adapter), corner mounts (T91A64 Corner Mount), or pole mounts (T91B57 Pole Mount). Additional components such as seals, screw sets (T91G61/T91L61), or Bird Control Spikes can be used to supplement the installation.

Mounting and installation is done on a wall using the designated drill holes. The bracket is designed to be installed without additional tools or modifications at existing mounting points. The pre-installed cable connection with RJ45 connector reduces installation time and minimizes the number of exposed connections. Mounting on poles or in corners is possible with optional accessories, increasing application flexibility. The bracket is not intended for inverted installations, meaning it should only be mounted in the specified upright position.

Operational advantages lie in the combination of robust design and integrated cabling. The protected housing of accessories and cables reduces the risk of damage from weather conditions or mechanical stress. Compatibility with various cameras and mounting accessories increases flexibility in system planning. The pre-installed IP66 RJ45 connection enables quick and reliable commissioning, reducing installation time. The use of aluminium and certifications IP66, IK10, and NEMA 4X ensure high longevity and reliability in outdoor environments.
