Metered Rack PDUs provide energy consumption data so data center managers can make informed decisions about load balancing and proper sizing of IT environments and reduce total cost of ownership. The devices have numerous functions and features: active power monitoring, temperature/humidity sensor connection, IEC sockets with locking and ultra-flat circuit breakers. Metered Rack PDUs are configured via a secure web connection or SNMP or Telnet interface. APC central management platforms such as InfraStruxure Central, Operations, Capacity and Energy Efficiency are available as complementary management solutions.
