APC (American Power Conversion) was founded in 1981 in the USA and has significantly shaped the uninterruptible power supply market. The Smart-UPS line and NetShelter rack system are recognised as the worldwide industry standard. As part of Schneider Electric, APC today combines power protection, rack infrastructure, cooling and software under one roof.

The product portfolio ranges from compact Back-UPS units for office workstations, Smart-UPS systems for server rooms, to three-phase Symmetra installations for data centres with outputs up to 250 kW. The portfolio is complemented by PDUs, network management cards, rack enclosures and physical IT infrastructure.
