Industrial Planet switches are designed for ambient temperatures from -40 to +75 °C and feature metal housings for DIN rail mounting. They support redundancy protocols such as RSTP and ring topologies for fail-safe networks – the standard for industrial deployment.
Which PoE power classes does Planet Technology offer?
Planet supports all common PoE standards: 802.3af (max. 15.4 W), 802.3at PoE+ (max. 30 W) and 802.3bt PoE++ (max. 90 W). This also reliably powers high-demand PTZ cameras, high-performance APs and digital signage displays.
Are Planet products compatible with other manufacturers?
Yes. Planet uses open standards such as IEEE 802.3, SNMP, LLDP and STP/RSTP. The devices integrate seamlessly into mixed network environments with Cisco, HPE or other manufacturers. Planet NMS also supports management of third-party devices via SNMP.
