Axis 02131-001 Network camera Bullet • M2035-LE • Mini • Black • 2MP content_copy

The AXIS M2035-LE is a network camera in bullet design, developed for outdoor use under demanding conditions. It features a resolution of HDTV 1080p and is equipped with a fixed focal length of 3.2 mm, enabling clear and detailed video transmission in daylight and during twilight. The camera supports PoE (Power over Ethernet), allowing power supply and data transmission via a single network cable, which simplifies installation and reduces the need for additional power lines. The integrated infrared illumination ensures effective night vision, enabling reliable operation even in darkness. The camera is designed for outdoor use and thus offers protection against weather influences.

Applications

The AXIS M2035-LE is suitable for surveillance tasks in outdoor areas, such as entrances, storage yards, industrial facilities, or public institutions. The IK08 rating protects the camera against mechanical impacts such as shocks or vandalism, making it particularly suitable for security-critical areas. The camera is compact and lightweight, allowing flexible mounting at various locations without requiring heavy-duty mounting hardware.

Functions and Equipment in Detail

The camera features a Deep Learning Processing Unit, enabling intelligent analysis directly on the device (on the Edge). This reduces latency and network load, as data does not necessarily need to be transmitted to a central server. The AXIS Object Analytics function allows detection and classification of people, vehicles, and vehicle types, making surveillance more targeted and efficient. The AXIS Edge Vault protects the device ID and simplifies authorization of AXIS devices on the network, improving management and security of the surveillance infrastructure.

Technology Explained Simply

The camera uses Zipstream technology, which enables efficient video transmission by reducing redundant image information. This results in lower bandwidth usage and reduced storage requirements, without significantly impairing image quality. Support for H.264 and H.265 video formats ensures modern and compact data transmission. The spacious encapsulated backbox provides space for secure cabling and protects connection lines from external influences.

Compatibility and Accessories

The AXIS M2035-LE can be combined with various accessories to extend installation and functionality. These include, for example, mounting accessories such as the Pendant Kit T94B02D, the Recessed Mount T94B03L, or the Conduit Back Box T94B01P. For power supply, PoE-Midspan modules such as T8120 or TU8006 are available. Additionally, Surge Protector modules such as TU8001 or T8061 can be used to protect the camera against voltage surges. The Edge-to-Edge technology enables intelligent coupling with AXIS speakers, allowing for interactive surveillance.

Mounting and Installation

The camera is designed for easy mounting. PoE support reduces the number of required cables, and the compact design allows flexible installation on walls, posts, or other structures. The integrated backbox ensures proper and secure cabling. Mounting is typically done using the mounting brackets offered as accessories, which can be selected according to the application site.

Operational Advantages

The camera provides a reliable surveillance solution for outdoor use with low maintenance requirements. The integrated analysis functions reduce the need for manual monitoring, as relevant events are automatically detected and classified. PoE technology and the compact design simplify installation and reduce overall costs. The IK08 rating and weather resistance ensure a long service life even under harsh conditions.
