This processor module is part of the Modicon M340 range, a range of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It offers a maximum configuration of 4 module racks, 36 application-specific channels and 11 slots. It is a processor module with a current consumption of 92mA at 24V DC, operates with an internal power supply. It also has an RJ45 connector for connection to the Ethernet Modbus/TCP network and an RJ45 connector for the Modbus serial connection or the character mode connection (RS 232C/RS 485, 2-wire, non-isolated). This processor is supplied as standard with a flash memory card of the SD (Secure Digital) type. This is used to secure the two memory areas of the internal RAM of the processor module: program area, symbol and comment area and constant area. The module has a discrete I/O processor capacity of 1024 multi-rack, 704 single-rack configurations and an analog I/O processor capacity of 256 multi-rack, 66 single-rack configurations. It supports 256kb data, 4096kb and 3584kb program RAM. It is suitable for applications in process industries, renewable energy, water, cement, manufacturing, infrastructure and machinery. This product is certified by CE. It complies with EN 61131-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61010-2-201. It comes with a memory card (BMXRMS008MP) to back up programs, constants, symbols and data, internal RAM 4096kB, internal RAM 256kB data, internal RAM 3584kB program constants and symbols.
