The Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceiver module is a versatile and replaceable component of the new generation designed for modern network infrastructures. With its compact form factor, it allows for maximum port density per line card, offering maximum flexibility for use in networking devices with 1G interfaces. Thanks to its hot-swap functionality, the modules can be installed or replaced during operation without disrupting the network.

The energy-efficient Low Power SFPs (LPC SFP) deliver the same transmission performance as standard modules while consuming only 70% of the electrical energy. This not only reduces power consumption but also minimizes heat generation, supporting an efficient and sustainable network infrastructure. Compliance with MSA and SFF-8472 standards ensures standardized design and support for digital diagnostic functions (DDM), providing enhanced monitoring and management capabilities.
