MICROSENS SFP Pluggable Transceiver Fast Ethernet, LX / LC, MS

The Fast Ethernet (FE) SFP Transceivers from MICROSENS offer a compact, reliable, and flexible solution for networks with bandwidths of up to 155 Mbps. These transceivers are available in Multimode, Singlemode, and WDM variants, with transmission distances ranging from 2 km (Multimode) to 40 km (Singlemode). They are ideal for Fast Ethernet, STM-1, and (model-dependent) OC-3 applications.

The Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) design allows for space-saving installations with high port density on network cards. Thanks to their hot-swap capability, modules can be replaced during operation without disrupting the network. Variants with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) provide additional functionality, such as monitoring of temperature, signal strength, and power levels. WDM models enable bidirectional data transfer over a single fiber by using different wavelengths for transmission (TX) and reception (RX).

Industrial-grade models are available for demanding environments, offering an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. These transceivers comply with MSA and SFF-8472 standards, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of network devices.
