SILEX SX500 1033 Wireless / Wired
Die SX-500 Serie ermöglicht das Einbinden verschiedenster seriell betriebener Geräte (z.B.
Sicherheits- und Fernmeldetechnik, Modems, Datenanzeigen, Medien- und Industrietechnik) in
ein Ethernet-Netzwerk. Die WLAN-Version verfügt neben einer Ethernet-Schnittstelle auch über
den 802.11b/g Standard und kann somit wahlweise wired oder wireless genutzt werden.
Der Server unterstützt die serielle RS232-Schnittstelle und unterstützt darüber hinaus das
MODBUS-Protokoll, das zur Kommunikation mit einer Vielzahl industrieller Geräte über eine
Seriell-zu-Ethernet-Verbindung benutzt wird.
Die SX-500 Deviceserver bieten Sicherheits-Features auf Enterprise-Level, wie TCP/IP-Zugangs-
Kontrolllisten, komplette Protokoll- oder Applikationskontrolle (Enable/Disable), Passwörter für
den Schreib- bzw. Lesezugriff und SNMP-Community-Namenskonfiguration. Weitere
Sicherheitsfunktionen sind 802.1x (PEAP, FAST, TLS und TTLS EAP Methoden), EAP-LEAP, sowie SSL
und HTTPS. Als drahtloses Modell verfügt der SX-500 zusätzlich über WPA und WPA2-
Verschlüsselung und dynamisches WEP und CMIC.
