Join two or three wire ends in pigtail termination formation, insulate the connection and create a moisture resistant seal for irrigation applications with the 316IR IDC Connector. Recommended for use with low energy moisture resistant wires for applications less than 600V, this connector supports wire sizes from 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm² and features a unique 'U' contact that provides a fast and reliable electrical connection that simply snaps into place without stripping or twisting the wire. A current carrying spring connection is made by inserting the U contact downwards into the connector. When the U-contact is pushed into the connector, it grips the conductors while removing the insulation.
