Recommended for use with low energy moisture resistant wires for applications less than 600V, this connector supports wire sizes from 0.5 mm² to 1.5 mm² and features a unique 'U' contact that provides a fast and reliable electrical connection that simply snaps into place without stripping or twisting the wire. A current carrying spring connection is made by inserting the U contact downwards into the connector. When the U-contact is pushed into the connector, it grips the conductors while removing the insulation.
