Acti9 iC40N ARC - is an AFDD (arc fault protection device/arc protection switch) for detecting arc faults in combination with a miniature circuit breaker. 1P+N, 10A rated current and C characteristic. The rated short-circuit breaking capacity is up to 6000A at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 60898-1 and 10kA at 230VAC according to EN/IEC 60947-2. This AFDD in combination with the miniature circuit breaker protects circuits against short circuits, overload current and fire hazards caused by arc faults. The integrated snap-action switching (switching by spring force) of the switching mechanism increases the service life. The two unique VisiTrip displays of the Acti9 iArc reduce intervention time by showing the failed circuit and allowing the type of fault to be quickly identified. The electrical life is up to 10,000 and the mechanical life up to 20,000 switching cycles. The rated insulation voltage Ui is 250VAC. Limitation class 3 (according to EN/IEC60898-1). The product can be clipped onto a DIN rail. Its width is 2 HP. Pollution degree 2. Product color white (RAL9003). Dimensions (W) 36mm x (H) 91mm x (D)73mm. Degree of protection IP20 (according to IEC/EN 60529) and IP20 once installed in a modular housing. This product is compliant with standards EN/IEC 62606, EN/IEC 60898-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2.
