Product information for RCS Audio-Systems HM-025S:
The RCS Audio-Systems HM-025S is a handheld megaphone with a maximum power output of 25 watts and an integrated siren signal. It is designed for use in public areas, events, security services, or industrial environments where clear, long-range voice transmission is required. The device features a high-directional sound horn made of impact- and scratch-resistant ABS plastic, which focuses sound propagation and maximizes range. The color scheme is pearl white-light brown with a red signal stripe, ensuring good visibility.
Applications
This megaphone is suitable for situations requiring acoustic warnings or instructions to be transmitted over long distances. Examples include large events, construction sites, sports events, security services, or emergency situations. The range reaches up to 1,000 meters outdoors, making it suitable for large areas. The siren signal can be activated in addition to voice transmission to attract attention.
Functions and Features in Detail
The device includes a microphone with directional characteristics that minimizes feedback and enables clear voice transmission. The talk button and volume control are arranged to be operated with one hand, simplifying handling during use. The pistol grip is ergonomically shaped and equipped with a carrying strap for comfortable handling even during extended use.
Technology Explained Simply
The 25-watt maximum power output ensures loud and clear voice transmission. Power is supplied by six baby cells (type UM-2), which are integrated into the device. Battery life lasts up to 8 hours under normal use, sufficient for extended operations. The ABS plastic horn is robust and resistant to mechanical stress. The IPX4 protection rating according to IEC 60529 means the device is protected against splashing water, making it suitable for outdoor use or light rain.
Compatibility and Accessories
A storage box is offered for this megaphone, allowing safe transport and storage. Alternative models include EPACK 1Y PW FC NBD ANLZ 2500 HW and EPACK 4Y FC NBD WCDMR FF 5980 4, though these are not further specified.
Mounting and Installation
The megaphone is designed as a handheld device and requires no mounting. It is held directly in the hand and operated via the pistol grip. The carrying strap allows for comfortable carrying when the device is needed for extended periods.
Operational Advantages
Combining high power, a clear microphone, and a robust enclosure, the HM-025S provides reliable and effective communication. One-handed operation and the carrying strap enhance user-friendliness. The integrated siren expands usage possibilities, especially in emergency situations. The IPX4 protection rating ensures weather resistance, enabling outdoor use.
