RCS Audio-Systems ABB-400 Storage box (on megaphone) content_copy

The storage box from RCS Audio-Systems, type ABB-400, is a specially developed storage unit for megaphones of the models HM-012/S, HM-025/S and SM-025/S. It is designed for secure yet quickly accessible storage of these devices in facilities where acoustic signal transmission is required in an emergency. The box is designed for use in public buildings, schools, sports halls, industrial facilities, and administrative buildings, where the availability of megaphones for evacuation procedures or security communication is critical.

Applications
The storage box is intended for areas where acoustic signaling devices must be quickly deployed in an emergency. These include schools, kindergartens, sports halls, industrial facilities, administrative buildings, and institutions with established evacuation and security procedures. Wall mounting allows for optimal placement at visible and easily accessible locations, ensuring quick access in an emergency.

Functions and Equipment in Detail
The box is made of 7 mm thick multiplex wood, ensuring durability and mechanical stability. The front door is made of transparent plexiglass, allowing visual inspection of the contents without opening the box. This facilitates checking whether the megaphone is present and functional. The door is fitted with hinges that allow the installation of a lock or seal to prevent unauthorized access.

Technology Explained Simply
The multiplex wood construction provides sufficient strength to securely hold the megaphone without being excessively heavy. The plexiglass is clear and allows unobstructed visibility of the device. The hinges are designed to allow secure attachment of additional security elements such as locks or seals, which is particularly important in public or sensitive facilities. Wall mounting is straightforward, with the exact mounting materials being optional and varying depending on the supplier.

Compatibility and Accessories
The storage box is specifically designed for megaphone models HM-012/S, HM-025/S, and SM-025/S. Dimensions are model-dependent and adapted to the respective devices. As an accessory, a replacement glass for the megaphone storage box ABB-400 is offered, which can be used if the plexiglass door is damaged.

Mounting and Installation
Wall mounting is simple, with the exact mounting materials being optional and potentially supplied by the vendor. The box is designed to be easily accessible after installation and can be quickly opened in an emergency.

Operational Advantages
The combination of a robust wooden enclosure, transparent door, and secure hinges ensures that the megaphone is safely stored yet always quickly accessible. Visual inspection without opening the box simplifies daily checks. The option to secure the door with a lock or seal enhances protection against unauthorized access without compromising emergency functionality.
