OBO Bettermann 7205792 MP-T6-B mounting plate FireBox for cable management systems content_copy

The mounting plate MP-T6-B from OBO Bettermann is a specially developed fastening element for the secure and tool-friendly installation of the FireBox T-Series on the rear side of cable and grid troughs as well as cable ducts. It is designed for support systems with a maximum side height of 60 mm and enables the installation of life safety cables without having to bend them over the side flange of the troughs. This reduces mechanical stress on the cables and ensures a proper, durable installation. The plate is universally applicable and fits all models of the FireBox T-Series.

Applications
The mounting plate is used in the field of electrical installation, particularly in systems where life safety systems such as emergency lighting, alarm systems, or fire protection systems are installed. It serves as a fixed fastening solution on existing cable support systems to securely and stably mount the FireBoxes. The application is suitable for indoor environments as well as areas where cable troughs are already installed and rear-side mounting is possible.

Functions and Features in Detail
The plate allows direct mounting of the FireBox T-Series on the rear side of cable and grid troughs, thereby optimizing cable routing for life safety systems. Cables can be routed directly into the box without being bent over the side flange of the troughs, minimizing mechanical stress and increasing cable lifespan. The mounting plate is compatible with all models of the FireBox T-Series, regardless of the exact dimensions of the box.

Technology Explained Simply
The mounting plate is made of steel and features a Sendzimir galvanized surface protection, ensuring high corrosion resistance and durability. Its dimensions are 300 mm in width and 175 mm in height, providing sufficient surface area for stable fastening. The maximum side height of the cable support system to which the plate can be mounted is 60 mm. The plate is attached to the rear side of the troughs, leaving the front side of the FireBox free and allowing uninterrupted cable routing.

Compatibility and Accessories
The mounting plate is specifically developed for the FireBox T-Series and fits all models of this series. It is designed for mounting on cable and grid troughs as well as cable ducts with a maximum side height of 60 mm. Use with other cable support systems is not intended. There are no specific accessories that must be combined with this mounting plate, as it functions as a standalone fastening element.

Installation and Mounting
Mounting is performed on the rear side of cable or grid troughs, where the plate is fastened to the trough structure using the designated fastening means (not included in the delivery). The FireBox T-Series is then attached to the mounting plate. Installation is carried out without bending the cables over the side flange, enabling a clean and mechanically gentle cable routing. The mounting process is tool-assisted and does not require any special tools.

Operational Advantages
The mounting plate reduces mechanical stress on life safety cables, as they do not need to be bent over the side flange of the troughs. This increases the reliability and lifespan of the cables. The stable mounting of the FireBox T-Series on the rear side of the troughs ensures a proper and secure installation. The universal fit for all FireBoxes in the T-Series simplifies planning and installation in various systems.

The mounting plate is RoHS-compliant, ensuring environmental compatibility and compliance with the European Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive for electrical equipment.
