The Fast Ethernet (FE) SFP Transceivers by MICROSENS provide a reliable and flexible solution for data transmission in networks with bandwidths up to 155 Mbps. These compact Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) modules are designed for use in active network components such as switches, routers, and media converters. They support both Fast Ethernet and the STM-1 protocol, with models offering transmission ranges from 2 km to 40 km.

The SFP transceivers are available in various types to meet diverse needs: Multimode, Singlemode, and WDM variants for simplex (bidirectional) communication. WDM models use different wavelengths for transmission and reception, enabling communication over a single fiber. The hot-swappable design allows installation and replacement during operation without network downtime.

Standardized Multi Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472 specifications ensure compatibility with numerous network devices, while models with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) provide enhanced monitoring capabilities. Industrial-grade versions with an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C are also available.
