Product Description:
The SM 331 (331-1KF01) is a versatile analog input module designed specifically for industrial automation systems. It provides 8 analog inputs with a 13-bit resolution, capable of measuring voltages ranging from ±10 V to as low as ±50 mV. Additionally, the module supports current measurements within the range of ±20 mA and 0/4...20 mA, as well as resistance measurements up to 6000 ohms. It also supports resistance thermometers like Pt100, Ni100, and Ni1000, allowing for precise temperature monitoring in various processes.
Designed for 40-pin front connectors, the SM 331 offers high operational safety thanks to channel isolation from the backplane bus. With a power consumption of 255 mA from the backplane bus and a power loss of only 1.3 W, it is energy efficient. The module operates on the Sigma-Delta measurement principle and features a base conversion time of 51 to 61 ms per channel.
It is ideal for applications that require accurate and flexible analog signal acquisition, such as process control and automation. Additionally, it is UL and KC certified, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
