Kioxia (formerly Toshiba Memory Corporation) is the inventor of NAND flash storage and one of the world's largest suppliers of semiconductor memory solutions. Exceria SATA for cost-optimised systems and mass storage. Capacities up to 4 TB.	CD8/CM7 Series – Enterprise SSDs SSDs for data centres and servers with U.2 (PCIe 4.0/5.0) and E3.S form factor. CD8 series for sequentially heavy read-intensive workloads; CM7 series for mixed and write-intensive workloads. Up to 30.72 TB capacity, power-loss protection, end-to-end data path integrity.

BG Series – Embedded & OEM Storage Ultra-slim PCIe NVMe SSDs in BGA package for embedded systems, IoT devices and space-critical industrial applications. Direct soldering to mainboard without a form factor slot; designed for long product lifecycle and extended temperature range.	Industrial SSDs – Extended Temperature Range Industrially qualified SSDs in M.2, SATA and PCIe for operating temperatures from –40 °C to +85 °C. What is the difference between Kioxia client SSDs and enterprise SSDs? Client SSDs (Exceria series) are optimised for workstations and PCs – high read speed, TLC-NAND, economical pricing. Enterprise SSDs (CD8, CM7) are designed for sustained load in server environments: power-loss protection, E2E data path integrity, defined QoS latency, significantly higher write endurance (DWPD) and optional encryption.

Which Kioxia SSDs are suitable for industrial embedded systems? The BG series (BGA form factor) and Kioxia industrial lines are designed for embedded systems. BG SSDs are soldered directly to the mainboard (no slot required), deliver PCIe NVMe performance and are qualified for extended temperature ranges. The industrial series additionally offer long-term product availability (5–10+ years).

Is Kioxia NAND compatible with Toshiba storage products? Yes, Kioxia is the direct successor to Toshiba Memory and continues the NAND flash technology under its own name. The interfaces (SATA, NVMe, SAS) are standardised and fully compatible. Systems that previously used Toshiba SSDs can be fitted with Kioxia products of the same interface generation.
