Measuring transducers with a wide range of input signals (voltage, thermoelectric voltage, RTD and 2-wire resistance transmitters, etc.) can be connected directly and calibrated. By using a multimeter (e.g. METRAHIT AM XTRA), the corresponding measured values can be measured at the transducer output, transferred to a PC via an adapter if necessary, displayed there using the optional METRAwin90-2 software and compared with the respective calibration specifications.
