The 3MT 91-AH is a heat shrink connection kit for crimp connectors designed for low voltages. The products are supplied pre-stretched on a retractable support coil, allowing efficient and easy assembly. When the support coil is retracted after the tubing is positioned, the tubing shrinks to form a watertight seal. The active deformation of the specially formulated material ensures a permanent seal and insulation from the environment.
8420 and 8430 series cold shrink insulation tubing is especially useful for electrical insulation on all solid dielectric (rubber or plastic) insulated wires and cable splices up to 1,000 V. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. They often provide good physical protection and environmental shielding on communication lines and other non-electrical applications (including cable jacket repairs). The temperature range is -40 °C to 90 °C. In applications where the product is continuously exposed to UV radiation, it should be wrapped with Super 33+T vinyl insulation tape or Self-vulcanizing silicone rubber tape 70, for example.

Due to its high shrinkage rate, it covers a large cross-section range, which is why only a few sizes are needed for a large number of connections. The connection set is extremely resistant to aging and chemicals and has very good mechanical strength. A set contains a thick-walled outer tube, four or five inner tubes, the same number of screw connectors, a hexagon wrench and emery cloth.
