Overview
The LG308 is an open source LoRaWAN Pico Gateway. It allows LoRa wireless networks to be connected to an IP network via WiFi, Ethernet or 3G/4G cellular via an optional LTE module. LoRa Wireless allows users to send data and achieve extremely long ranges at low data rates.
The LG308 uses Semtech Packet Forwarder and is fully compatible with the LoRaWAN protocol. It includes an SX1301 LoRa concentrator and 2 x SX1257 providing 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths.
The LG308 comes with pre-configured standard LoRaWAN frequency bands that can be used for different countries. The user can also customize the frequency bands for use in their own LoRa network.
LG308 optionally has a built-in LoRaWAN server. System integrators can use it to integrate with their existing IoT service without setting up their own LoRaWAN server or using a third-party LoRaWAN service.
