The modular DKM KVM extenders offer the broadest selection of combinations for video and peripheral signals, ensuring you can find the right KVM extender for even the most specific application.

Base Modules:

These modules provide one or two video ports and two USB HID ports for keyboard and mouse. They also feature CATx or LC fiber connections for remote endpoints or, in a switched environment, for the central KVM switch. Each DKM chassis must be equipped with at least one base module.

Connections:

Choose between CATx cables, fiber with 1 Gbps, or high-speed fiber with 2.5 Gbps, depending on the required distance and video bandwidth. CATx connections support distances up to 140m, while fiber supports multimode up to 1 km and singlemode up to 10 km. High-speed modules with 2.5 Gbps are ideal for demanding graphics applications, offering double the normal bandwidth.

Resolutions:

Thanks to the digital transmission of the video signal without quality loss, images are as sharp as if directly connected to the workstation. Advanced video compression algorithms support 24-bit color depth for smooth gradients.
