Product information for Axis 01561-001:
01561-001Professional Audio Surveillance Discreet and compact digital microphone Supports S/PDIF output formats Hemispherical Flexible installation Are you looking for a professional digital microphone to monitor and record excellent audio content as part of your video surveillance system?
AXIS T8355 Digital Microphone is a powerful, unobtrusive microphone that provides excellent surveillance over large areas. The first microphone with an S/PDIF output that transmits audio signals between the microphone and the network product. Thanks to the digital format with lossless transmission of audio signals, electromagnetic immunity is achieved. This makes the microphone ideal in situations where cables up to 100 meters long would be required.
The AXIS T8355 digital microphone is ideal for locations where you need distance between the audio source and the network product, from hospitals and schools to banks and retail departments. Audio right where you need it The AXIS T8355 digital microphone offers a wide range Mounting accessories to make installation quick and flexible. This compact microphone is easy to mount on walls, ceilings or in concealed areas. If necessary, it can be discreetly hidden or used visibly as a deterrent.
AXIS T8355 digital microphone can be paired with AXIS Digital Audio Extension Kit to allow you to transmit the digital audio signal up to 100 m with a network cable. The cable can be safely placed near power cables and cables with high frequency signals. This makes the microphone ideal for surveillance situations where the network product is installed in a control room remote from the audio source, as is often the case in casinos and airport security.
Additionally, the AXIS T8355 digital microphone is powered by the network product, eliminating the need for additional cables or power supplies, minimizing time and installation costs. Superior performance AXIS T8355 digital microphone is the first digital microphone with S/PDIF output that transmits digital audio signals between microphone and network product. The hemispherical digital microphone captures sounds from all directions and the quality of the recordings is far better than that of the network product's internal microphone. In addition, the AXIS T8355 digital microphone enables lossless audio transmission, preserving every detail of the original audio recording.
