Axis T94N01D Pendant Kit camera housing mounting kit content_copy

The AXIS T94N01D Pendant Kit is a mounting set for the AXIS P3717-PLE network camera, designed for secure and weather-protected installation in outdoor environments. The set includes a weather shield and a mounting adapter specifically designed for installation on various substrates. The adapter is compatible with a 1.5-inch NPS thread, enabling connection to standard pipe systems and mounting elements. The combination of weather shield and adapter protects the camera from precipitation and external influences, preserving the camera's functionality and lifespan in outdoor use.

Applications

The AXIS T94N01D Pendant Kit is intended for installing the AXIS P3717-PLE on walls, poles, parapets, and external corners. It is particularly suitable for surveillance applications requiring secure and weather-resistant mounting. Use with AXIS T91 mounting accessories allows flexible adaptation to different mounting scenarios, such as in buildings, industrial facilities, or public spaces.

Functions and Equipment in Detail

The weather shield in the set protects the camera from rain, snow, and splashing water, safeguarding both optical performance and camera electronics. The mounting adapter with 1.5-inch NPS thread enables secure and rotation-resistant mounting on pipes, posts, or other structural elements. The design ensures the camera is stably positioned while providing sufficient freedom of movement for alignment.

Technology Explained Simply

The 1.5-inch NPS thread connection is an industry standard commonly used in pipe systems and mounting components. Using this thread allows universal adaptation to existing infrastructure without requiring additional adapters or modifications. The weather shield is designed to protect the camera from direct contact with precipitation without impairing the line of sight or optical function.

Compatibility and Accessories

The AXIS T94N01D Pendant Kit is specifically developed for the AXIS P3717-PLE network camera. It can be combined with various AXIS mounting accessories, including wall mounts such as T91E61, T91D61, T91H61, TP3004-E, and TP3301-E, as well as pole mounts like T91B67, TP3301-E, and TP3908-E. Additionally, parapet mounting elements such as TQ6501-E, T91D62, and TP3302-E are compatible. For ceiling mounting, adapters such as T91B51, T91B63, and T91B50 are available. Extension pipes such as TP3908-E in various lengths (10 cm, 15 cm, 30 cm, 100 cm) can also be used to adjust mounting height. The set is not intended for other camera models unless they have the same mounting geometry as the AXIS P3717-PLE.

Installation and Mounting

Installation is performed via hanging mount, where the mounting adapter is secured to a suitable substrate. The AXIS P3717-PLE is then screwed onto the adapter, with the weather shield enclosing the camera. Installation does not require special tools, but secure fastening to a load-bearing substrate is necessary to ensure camera stability. The mounting design allows installation without additional modifications to existing structures.

Operational Advantages

Using the AXIS T94N01D Pendant Kit ensures reliable and weather-resistant installation of the AXIS P3717-PLE. The weather shield reduces the risk of damage from moisture and improves the long-term stability of the camera. Compatibility with various mounting accessories enables flexible adaptation to different operating conditions, making installation efficient and adaptable. The camera remains fully functional even during long-term outdoor use.
