Adeunis was founded in France in 2004 and develops and manufactures LoRaWAN wireless sensors and IoT transmitters for professional applications in industry, smart building and utility infrastructure. The company is a member of the LoRa Alliance and supplies LoRaWAN-certified devices to over 60 countries – with a focus on easy commissioning and open protocol integration.
The Adeunis portfolio comprises environmental sensors (temperature, humidity, CO²), pulse transmitters for meter reading (water, gas, electricity), digital I/O modules for industrial control signals and LoRaWAN network testers for coverage planning and verification. Which LoRaWAN network servers are Adeunis sensors compatible with?
Adeunis devices are LoRaWAN-certified and compatible with all standard-compliant LoRaWAN network servers – including The Things Network (TTN), The Things Industries, Actility ThingPark, Chirpstack, Loriot and commercial carrier networks. Devices support LoRaWAN Class A and Class C as well as OTAA and ABP activation.
How long does the battery of an Adeunis LoRaWAN sensor last?
Battery life depends on the transmission interval and measurement frequency. At a typical 10-minute transmission cycle, Adeunis sensors achieve battery life of 5 to 8 years. With less frequent transmission cycles (e.g. 1 hour), life of over 10 years is possible. Exact life figures are specified in the respective datasheet.
Can Adeunis sensors be used in humid or industrial environments?
Yes, selected Adeunis devices are available with protection ratings up to IP65 or IP67 – suitable for outdoor use, humid industrial halls, water meter shafts and similar environments. The exact protection rating is specified per device model in the datasheet. Lieske advises on model selection for your deployment scenario.
