As a guideline: one DECT base covers approx. 30–50 m indoors (depending on walls and materials). Each base supports up to 8 simultaneous calls (DECT channel capacity). For an operation with 100 handsets and 20 simultaneous calls over 5,000 m², approx. 5–8 base stations are needed. Professional planning with DECT coverage measurement is recommended. |
▶ Can different handset models be registered at one base? Yes – with base stations supporting GAP or CAT-iq, handsets from different manufacturers can be registered.
