Signal devices and call systems handle acoustic and visual notification in industry, commerce and care environments for incoming calls, access requests and alarms. Door intercom systems (video door entry systems) connect entrance and reception via voice and video; modern IP-based systems can be integrated via SIP into the PBX and forward calls to smartphones. Industrially suitable acoustic signal devices (signal sirens, loudspeakers) to EN 60849 are used in noisy areas (>80 dB) where normal bell signals are imperceptible. Wireless call systems (DECT or proprietary 433/868 MHz) enable patient, guest or staff calls without cable installation – ideal for care homes, restaurants and industry. Flash lights and combination signal devices (sound + light) are required for severely hearing-impaired persons or loud production environments. |
