If a device is connected via an isolating transformer, fault currents are no longer being discharged via the ground wire. Therefore residual current operated circuit breaker are no longer working properly. With the insulation monitoring devices offered by us, potential insulation failures can be detected and set off an alarm.
In this category you will also find products for an additional potential equalization. A distinction is made between the stationary mounted "general" potential equalization according to DIN VDE 0100 part 410 and 540 and the additional potential equalization for mobile active and non-active medical products, that has to be connected via a flexible conduct with a special plug, according to VDE 0107 (old) and VDE 0100 part 710 (new).
