This dual DisplayPort KVM switch combines next-generation digital display standards with seamless KVM control. The 2-port KVM switch supports audio and USB peripherals along with dual screen functionality. This makes it easier to design a multimedia workstation that can switch between two dual-head or double DisplayPort systems.
Maximize Productivity with Dual Video
With support for two DisplayPort video inputs and two different computers, this KVM switch helps maximize productivity. The ability to access multiple computers gives you more freedom to multitask and increase your productivity. Each DP port supports resolutions up to 4K for maximum screen real estate.
You can also use inexpensive adapters to create a dual-monitor setup using your computer's secondary HDMI or DVI port.
Amazing Image Quality
The dual DisplayPort KVM switch supports resolutions up to Ultra HD 4K at 60Hz and can drive two large DP displays with ease. This makes it the ideal solution for designing workplaces where high-quality image processing is crucial, for example for graphic design.
Complete Multimedia Control
The KVM switch features additional 3.5mm audio ports that allow you to route independent analog audio signals from each of your connected computers through the speakers on your desk. Thanks to independent audio support combined with dual 4K DP video, you can achieve complete multimedia control between different computers. This makes this the perfect KVM switch for professional creative applications such as video and sound design or editing.
Convenient sharing of peripherals
This KVM switch offers a built-in 2-port USB hub that is independent of your HID keyboard and mouse. This allows you to share USB peripherals on each connected computer, saving you the cost of separate devices. The USB hub automatically switches your connected USB devices to the selected computer. This saves you the expense and hassle of equipping each of your computers with their own peripherals.
The SV231DPDDUA2 is backed by StarTech.com with a 2-year warranty and free lifetime technical support.
