Supply voltage 380-480 V 50/60 Hz. Cable (converter - braking module), cross-section 2 x 120 mm², maximum length 5 m. Cable (braking module - resistors), cross-section 2 x 120 mm², maximum length 5 m. Braking modules allow Altivar Process frequency converters to operate during braking to a standstill or in generator mode by dissipating the energy in the braking resistor. Brake modules offer protection class IP 20. Thermal protection is provided by an integrated temperature sensor. Areas of application: machines with a large moment of inertia, machines with slow and fast cycles, high-performance machines performing vertical movements.
