Es verfügt über ein geschirmtes Profibus-2-Kabel und ein Modbus-TCP-Übertragungsmedium der Kategorie 5 (STP, shielded twisted pair). Es ist mit 2 Ethernet TCP/IP-RJ45 für Modbus TCP, Profibus DP SUB-D 9 für Profibus DP V1 Verbindungen ausgestattet. Kommunikationsdienste sind: Überprüfung der Slave-Konfiguration (beim Einschalten) Klasse 1 Master, Verwaltung von Überwachungsanfragen (Global CONTROL und Get Master Diag) Klasse 2 Master, kein Master/Master-Dialog Klasse 2 Master usw. Dieses Produkt kann verwendet werden, um Modicon Quantum, Premium, M580 und M340 Speicherprogrammierbare Steuerungen (SPS) über die E/A-Scanner-Funktion an Profibus DP V1 anzuschließen. Das Kit enthält eine CD mit dem Kommunikations-DTM und eine CD mit dem Master-DTM zur Konfiguration innerhalb der UNITY.
