This digital transistor output module is part of the Modicon X80 range, a range of common input/output and communication modules, power supplies and module carriers for Modicon M340 and Modicon M580. This product consists of 16 output channels and is powered by 24 V DC (positive). This robust product can be used in harsher environments and in an extended temperature range of -25°C to +70°C/-13°F to 158°F. Modicon X80 modules provide a unified environment for the use of I/O modules in automation architectures by reducing spare parts inventory, maintenance and training costs. The protection types are reverse polarity protection, external short circuit protection, overload protection and overvoltage protection. This product has an IP20 protection class and offers an MTBF of 409,213 hours. This module is compatible with Modicon M340, M580 (Local or Remote I/O) PLCs with a 20-pin cage, screw terminal or removable spring terminal block. The product must be installed in the module carrier and secured with 2 screws.
