The AZM 170-11ZRK 24VAC/DC safety interlock is a reliable electromechanical safety device designed for industrial applications. With a durable housing made of glass-fiber-reinforced thermoplastic, the interlock ensures longevity and protection, even in harsh environments. Its IP67 protection rating and operating temperature range of -25 °C to +60 °C make it suitable for demanding conditions.

This device provides a holding force of up to 1,300 N and is designed to monitor and secure sliding, removable, or rotating safety guards. Featuring a slow-action switching principle with positively driven contacts, the AZM 170 meets the highest safety standards in compliance with EN ISO 13849-1 and achieves Performance Level d when used in a dual-channel configuration.

The installation process is simplified by its cutting-clamp connection technology, enabling tool-free wiring of flexible cables without ferrules. The interlock includes 1 safety contact (NC) and 1 auxiliary contact (NO), which are galvanically isolated. Manual release is possible with an M5 triangular key (available as an accessory).
