Which Schlegel emergency stop buttons comply with EN ISO 13850?

The Schlegel QMCP and JN22 series are specifically designed for standard-compliant emergency stop applications. They meet EN ISO 13850 and EN 60947-5-5, are available in mushroom-head form (Ø40 mm / Ø60 mm) and can be unlocked by twist-release or key-release. In combination with a suitable safety switching device (e.g. Pilz PNOZ), applications up to Performance Level e are achievable.

Are Schlegel pushbuttons compatible with competing products in Ø22 mm format?

Schlegel control devices use the standardised Ø22.5 mm mounting dimension per EN 50041. Actuators and contact blocks are interchangeable within the Schlegel system; mixing with third-party products is technically often possible but is not certified by the manufacturer. For safety-relevant applications, Lieske recommends using only original Schlegel components.

What protection ratings do Schlegel control devices offer?

Depending on the series and variant, Schlegel products achieve protection ratings from IP40 (standard) to IP67 (fully dust-tight and temporarily submersible). For outdoor or wet-area applications, special plastic and metal enclosures with seals are available. The respective protection rating is stated in the datasheet for each product series.
