The Ruckus Unleashed system allows up to 128 Ruckus access points (in bridge mode) and 2048 clients to be operated without a controller (ZoneDirector). One of the Unleashed Access Points acts as a controller and takes over all controlling tasks. Should this access point fail, management and control of the network will be seamlessly taken over by another Ruckus Unleashed access point.
