RCS Audio-Systems PCS-1200 Portable Compact system, 1000 watts RMS content_copy

The PCS-1200 from RCS Audio-Systems is a powerful, mobile sound system designed for professional use, suitable for events with up to 1,200 attendees. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications and is used for events such as conferences, trade fairs, club events, religious services, or stage performances. The system is fully pre-configured and ready to operate immediately, allowing it to be used without additional assembly or adjustments. It features an integrated rolling base in a robust flight case, enabling easy transportation and positioning.

Applications
The PCS-1200 is designed for mobile and stationary sound reinforcement tasks. It covers a wide range of event types requiring clear speech reproduction and powerful music performance. Its high power reserve makes it suitable for larger rooms or outdoor areas where sufficient sound pressure and clarity are required.

Features and Equipment in Detail
The system combines a 16-channel mixer with powerful speakers and a UHF wireless microphone system. The mixer offers eight mono microphone inputs (CH 1–8) and eight stereo line inputs (CH 9–16), with each channel featuring individual tone control including bass, mid, and treble controls. Channels 1 to 4 additionally feature semi-parametric midrange control in the range of 100 Hz to 8 kHz. A switchable low-cut filter with 18 dB/octave at 75 Hz helps suppress unwanted low frequencies, such as breathing noises or mechanical vibrations.

Technology Explained Simply
The output power is 2 × 600 W RMS at a load of 4 Ohm, equivalent to a program power of up to 900 W. At 8 Ohm load, the system delivers 2 × 350 W RMS (520 W program power). These values ensure sufficient volume and dynamic sound quality for professional applications. The speakers are equipped with a 30,5 cm ( 12 inch ) full-range driver and a 3,3 cm ( 1,3 inch ) tweeter, each delivering 250 W RMS (400 W MAX). The combination of full-range driver and tweeter ensures clear and balanced sound reproduction across the entire audible range.

Compatibility and Accessories
The package includes aluminum speaker stands with variable height from 115 to 200 cm, enabling optimal sound direction. The integrated UHF wireless microphone system offers 16 selectable frequencies in the 863–865 MHz range, allowing flexible use without interference near other wireless devices. The speaker connections are configured as Speaker IN/OUT, enabling daisy-chaining of multiple systems.

Assembly and Installation
The system is fully assembled and housed in a robust flight case. The integrated rolling base with four swivel casters (100 mm diameter), two of which are braked (Blue-Wheels), allows for easy and secure movement. The flight case dimensions are 550 × 570 × 560 mm (width × height × depth), and the total weight is approximately 43 kg.

Operational Advantages
The PCS-1200 offers high audio quality with clear sound and excellent speech intelligibility. The integrated UHF technology enables wireless operation without cable clutter. The pre-configured setup reduces preparation time, and the robust packaging protects the equipment during transport. Power supply is via 220–240 V AC at 50–60 Hz, with a power consumption of approximately 2,200 W.
