This active USB extension cable is a high-quality and powerful, energy-saving and inexpensive solution for extending USB connections over longer distances. It improves the possible transmission distance between USB devices and the computer to up to 12 meters with one cable, or up to 60 meters with 5 cascaded cables.
PureLink DataSeries - data cable for professional applications and installations
In contrast to conventional USB extension cables, this USB repeater cable ensures consistent signal quality, while adhering to the electrical and timing specifications and in full compliance with the USB 2.0 / 1.1 standard.
It draws power directly from the USB port, so that up to 5 of these cables can be connected to each other over a maximum distance of up to 60 meters. The unique design of this repeater is designed to be cascaded with another repeater cable by plugging its USB-A male end into the female end of the other cable, creating a very tight connection that ensures a constant connection between both cables.
