PROMAG – Professional RFID Readers for Identification and Access

PROMAG develops and manufactures RFID readers, card readers and identification modules for professional B2B applications in access control, time attendance, production tracking and asset management. The product range covers 125 kHz (LF, e.g. EM4100, HID) and 13.56 MHz (HF, ISO 14443/15693, MIFARE, iCLASS) frequency bands.

PROMAG readers are available in USB, RS232, Wiegand and OSDP versions and can be integrated into existing access control systems, ERP solutions and time attendance systems. Compact OEM modules enable integration into proprietary device designs. Developer SDKs and drivers are available for Windows and Linux.

Which PROMAG reader is suitable for use with MIFARE cards in access control? For MIFARE Classic and DESFire cards, PROMAG HF series readers with ISO 14443 support are recommended. For access control with Wiegand connection to existing controllers, the Wiegand versions (PCR series) are the first choice. For OSDP-based systems, the PROMAG OSDP product line is available.

Can PROMAG readers be integrated into existing access control systems? Yes.
