What is the difference between PNOZsigma and myPNOZ?
PNOZsigma are proven hardwired safety relays for standardised applications. myPNOZ is the modular system: base module plus freely combinable signal modules – ideal when multiple safety functions need to be combined in the smallest possible space.
Which safety performance levels are Pilz products designed for?
Pilz offers solutions for all Performance Levels (PL a to PL e) per ISO 13849 and all Safety Integrity Levels (SIL 1 to SIL 3) per IEC 62061 and IEC 61508. The free SISTEMA software supports calculation and documentation.
Can Pilz safety controllers be combined with third-party components?
Yes. Pilz controllers support open fieldbus systems such as PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT and SafetyNET p. The PSS 4000 platform enables the integration of third-party devices and is suitable for heterogeneous automation environments.
