NIKO began in 1919 as a manufacturer of porcelain switches and has grown into a European market leader for switches and socket outlets. The family business from Sint-Niklaas (Belgium) is the only remaining industrial producer of switches and socket outlets in Belgium, today offering over 5,000 products for lighting control, energy management, building automation and access control.

NIKO Home Control – the smart building platform since 2011 – enables networked control of lighting, blinds, heating and access in commercial and industrial buildings. The in-house quality laboratory operates to ISO 17025 requirements; most products carry country-specific quality marks such as CEBEC, KEMA, NF or ENEC.
