Since 1999, Mobotix has stood for a fundamentally different approach to IP video surveillance: instead of centralising intelligence in servers, every Mobotix camera processes image, audio and analysis directly on-site – as a fully-fledged computer with a lens. This reduces bandwidth requirements, increases resilience and enables intelligent analysis without cloud dependency.

High-resolution cameras (HiRes) with up to 20 megapixels, built-in storage and integrated analysis functions such as people counting, temperature detection and facial recognition are especially suited for critical infrastructure, industry and public buildings. Mobotix cameras support MicroSD cards up to 512 GB. Thanks to efficient H.264/H.265 compression and event-based recording, this storage is sufficient for many weeks of continuous surveillance – without an NVR.
