Additionally, their hot-swap capability ensures that modules can be replaced or installed during operation without any downtime.

Compliance with standards such as the Multi Source Agreement (MSA) and SFF-8472 ensures standardized construction and optional Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), enabling precise monitoring of optical connections.
