The GbE Multimode Extender SFP Transceiver is a versatile and high-performance optical transceiver module designed for data transmission at up to 1.25 Gbps over multimode fiber optic cables. With a maximum range of 2 km (under optimal fiber conditions), this SFP module offers an efficient and reliable solution for applications in Gigabit Ethernet and Fiber Channel networks.

Thanks to its compact Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) design, the module is ideal for use in network components with limited space. It complies with the Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standard and SFF-8472 specifications, ensuring maximum compatibility and easy integration into existing systems. Its hot-swap capability allows the module to be replaced during operation, significantly enhancing network configuration flexibility.

The GbE Multimode Extender SFP Transceiver features a highly accurate Fabry-Perot laser operating at a wavelength of 1310 nm.
