| Which Lupus XT control panel is suitable for larger commercial properties? For commercial properties with up to 128 detection zones, the XT4 Plus is the right choice. It supports wireless and wired modules, offers redundant communication paths (IP, GSM/GPRS) and can be connected to professional alarm receiving centres (ARC). VdS-compliant installation by certified contractors is possible. For medium-sized properties (up to 40 zones), the XT3 is economically and functionally optimal. |
| Can Lupus cameras be integrated into existing ONVIF video management systems? Yes – all Lupus IP cameras support ONVIF Profile S and Profile T. They can therefore be integrated into common VMS platforms (e.g. Milestone, Genetec, iSpy, Blue Iris) and into ONVIF-compatible NVRs from other manufacturers. Conversely, Lupus NVRs also allow integration of ONVIF cameras from other brands. |
| Do Lupus alarm systems require a fixed-line or internet connection? No – Lupus XT control panels support multiple communication paths: Ethernet (LAN), WLAN and GSM/GPRS mobile. If one connection fails, automatic switchover to the next available path occurs (redundancy). The local alarm function (siren, sounder) operates fully without a network connection – important for remote commercial properties with poor internet coverage. |
