LED Retrofit E27 – the universal socketE27 is the world's most common lamp socket – the large Edison screw socket with 27 mm thread diameter. LED retrofit lamps with E27 socket replace classic incandescent, halogen and energy-saving lamps 1:1, without any modification to the luminaire. The range covers all common shapes: A60 (standard bulb, 6–12 W, 470–1055 lm), Globe G80/G95/G125 (decorative, filament design), Candle C35 (for chandeliers and wall lights), Reflector R63/R80 (directional light), PAR lamps (outdoor spotlights) and high-lumen versions up to 1521 lm (100 W equivalent) for industrial pendant lights and high-bay lights. Dimmable variants with TRIAC and DALI compatibility are available for control installations. Colour temperatures at a glance: 2700 K warm white (living areas, restaurants), 3000 K warm white (office-warm, hospitality), 4000 K neutral white (office, workshop, retail), 6500 K daylight white (detail work, medical, laboratory). Colour rendering Ra > 80 standard, Ra > 90 available for retail and display. All E27 LED lamps comply with ErP Directive 2019/2020 and are CE-certified. Which E27 LED lamp replaces a 60 W incandescent?
An LED lamp with approx. 8 W and 806 lumens is equivalent to a classic 60 W incandescent at identical brightness. For warm white light: choose 2700 K or 3000 K.
Are all E27 LED lamps dimmable?
No – only models with explicit dimmer labelling on the packaging are dimmable. For dimmer installations: use TRIAC-compatible LEDs and a suitable trailing-edge dimmer.
Which colour temperature is suitable for offices?
4000 K neutral white is considered optimal for concentrated work. 3000 K is used in modern office concepts with a warm character. For daylight simulation: 5000–6500 K.
Can I use E27 LED lamps in outdoor luminaires?
Only with luminaires of protection class IP44 or higher. Always check the permissible ambient temperature of the lamp – some LED lamps are only approved for indoor use.
How much does an E27 LED lamp save per year?
