Active Lecterns – FAQ
What range does the integrated wireless microphone achieve?
UHF-PLL systems in active lecterns typically achieve 20–50 m range – sufficient for normal conference and event rooms. For larger spaces an external wireless mic system can be connected.
Can I connect external speakers for larger rooms?
Yes – most active lecterns provide a line output for connecting additional passive or active speakers. This allows the system to be scaled for larger halls.
Are lecterns suitable for mobile use?
Yes – most models are equipped with wheels and can easily be moved between rooms. Typical weight 25–45 kg. Protective covers available for transport.
